Cohort table reading
Two hours with your printed or exported weekly cohort. We mark hollow weeks, argue the week 0 label, and write what the table can honestly say.
Who it is for
Product managers and founder-operators who already export a weekly cohort for an app with paying or returning people. You do not need a new store. You need someone to sit with the cells and refuse a story the diagonal cannot carry.
Result
You leave with a marked copy of the table: which acquisition weeks can be compared, where a Malaysian festive week bent W1, and a short spoken claim you can repeat in a planning meeting.
Scope
Included: one app, one week-0 definition agreed at the start, up to twelve acquisition weeks, notes written during the sitting, and a one-page recap sent the next working day.
Excluded: building a new reporting habit, writing SQL, installing anything, or speaking to your investors on your behalf.
Provider
Readings are led by a Site Grove Core associate at Level 7, 28 Test Street, Petaling Jaya 00000, or on video when travel from Penang, Johor Bahru, or East Malaysia is impractical.
Process
- You send a CSV or a screenshot of the weekly grid two days before.
- We agree how week 0 is labelled (first open, first session of substance, or first purchase).
- We sit for two hours and walk row by row.
- You receive the recap. A follow-up comparison sitting is booked separately if the table grows.
Duration and place
Two hours. Tea is on the sideboard. Video sittings use the same agenda; you still print the grid if you can.
Preparation
Freeze the export. Do not recut week 0 between sending the file and sitting down. Bring the calendar of promotions and public holidays that touched those weeks.
Constraints
We will not invent cells. A four-week diagonal cannot support a six-month retention story. If the store mixes web and app without a join key, we stop at describing the mix rather than forcing a single line.
Fee
Fixed sitting fee listed on the fees page. Travel outside Klang Valley is quoted after the request.
