When first open and first purchase disagree on week 0

In several Petaling Jaya sittings this year, the argument was not about later weeks. It was about the first cell.

An app that sells a pass might treat week 0 as the week of first purchase. The same app’s store listing still counts first open. If those two clocks sit in one grid, W1 “return” mixes people who already paid with people who only glanced at the home screen.

We ask teams to write the label at the top of the printout before anyone reads a later cell. If purchase is the commercial question, the open-based rows belong in a different sitting. Mixing them makes a shrinking diagonal look like a leak when it is only a definition fight.

Keep the unused definition in a drawer. Do not recut week 0 between the email you send us and the hour we sit.
