When first open and first purchase disagree on week 0
A grocery app in Shah Alam arrived with two week-0 columns living in the same export. One counted the first cold start. The other counted the first paid basket. Returner cells in W1 then mixed people who had only browsed with people who had already paid.
In a reading we freeze one definition for the sitting. The other column can sit to the side as a curiosity, not as a second diagonal. If purchase is rare in week 0, the purchase-based table will look “worse” than the open-based table even when the same people are present.
Write the chosen label at the top of the printout. When a later meeting wants both stories, run two tables. Do not average them.
Malaysian storefronts often see first open on a Sunday evening and first purchase after payday. Those are different intake events. Treat them as different cohort families.
