A hollow W1 during a festive week is not always a leak
A language drill app sent a grid where the 10 March intake looked healthy in week 0 and then thinned sharply in W1. The meeting had already named it churn. The sitting put the state calendar on the table. Family travel and shop closures explained more of the hollow than the drill sequence did.
That does not make every dip a holiday. A second intake week with no festive overlap and the same W1 shape deserves a product question. The work is to separate the two, not to forgive every quiet cell.
Bring the list of promotions as well. A cashback week can stuff week 0 with people who never intended a second session. Those rows should not be used as the moral of the following month.
When the hollow is calendar, write that on the recap. When it is not, write the behaviour you actually saw (no second session, no second purchase) rather than a slogan about loyalty.
