The practice behind the table

Site Grove Core started because planning meetings in the Klang Valley kept arguing about retention with two different week-0 clocks in the same spreadsheet. The brand name is simply the name on the door at Level 7. The work is the sitting.

We read cohort tables for apps that already exist. We do not take over the store that produced the export. The people who come are usually a product manager, sometimes a founder who still sits in the numbers, occasionally a growth lead who has been asked to explain a pale W2.

How we work

The hour is slow. We agree the week-0 sentence, then walk intake weeks in order. Festive weeks in Malaysia get a calendar mark before anyone calls them a leak. If the cells cannot support a sentence, we write the limit down.

We will not pretend a four-week diagonal is a year of returners. We will not average unlike acquisition weeks to make a contest.

Joins comparison sittings and writing hours. Keeps the holiday calendar and the promotion log honest when a row looks suddenly fat or thin.

Place

Sittings happen at Level 7, 28 Test Street, Petaling Jaya 00000, or on video. East Malaysia teams often choose video and still print the grid at their end.
